Hancock County is a county located in the U.S. state of Ohio. As of the 2010 census, the population was 74,782. Its county seat is Findlay. The county was created in 1820 and later organized in 1828. It was named for John Hancock, the first signer of the Declaration of Independence.Hancock County comprises the Findlay, OH Micropolitan Statistical Area.
