- Detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the suspect in the shooting that occurred on Saturn Road in Bayou Vista on Wednesday, August 19, 2015.
- The female victim heard a noise and exited into the back yard of her residence. The suspect saw the victim, confronted her with a handgun, and fired the weapon multiple times before fleeing the area.
